Last year I began a series of rants on MySpace, but I’ve decided to change my medium to Top 5ives. In the past I’ve ranted about Penelope Cruz, Baby on Board tags in cars, Diving soccer players, and Poker Chips. Here is my latest rant and it is fitting for the time of year for the rant is about winter tires!

I drive a Ford Mustang and I drive it year-round. I put winter tires on it for better traction and stopping during the winter months. However, I spent the extra $30 and put hub-caps over the black steel-wheels that the winter tires are mounted on. I can’t figure out why people who put winter tires on, don’t put damn hub-caps on their tires. It makes your car look absolutely terrible!!!! I would imagine you’ve spent at least $800 if not more on your tires (mine cost $1200) so what is another $30 on a set of 4 hub-caps.

Sure, the summer rims look way better than the hub-caps, there is no comparison. However, the hub-caps look way better than a car with a set of dirty looking steel wheel rims. Next time you see a car with winter tires without hub-caps, decide for yourself!!!

I decided when I got my winter tires that if I was going to drive around with winter tires on my car from November to April, I at least want my car to look somewhat decent.

That’s just my rant.
